Anyone else experience this or anything similar that they can share? I have verified all of my drivers are up to date. While it isn’t that expensive, it does have an impeccable sound quality and the compatibility you’d need for. However, it does tend to lack many features that other modern DJ controllers have. I have found that if I remove the USB cable rather than powering off the unit, this unloads (so far) as it is suppose to and no issues. Overall, the American Audio VMS2 Controller is an excellent pick for those entering the game or trying to get their practice in on short performances. In order to fix it, I need to reboot the computer (which results in a BSOD), then connect the VMS2 back in and uninstall the drivers, turn off and turn back on the unit to re-install the drivers. My setup is as follows: Toshiba Laptop Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit 4GB ram American Audio VMS2 firmware v2.5 ASIO driver v2.2 After some intial issues it seems to be working well but the issue now is that when I turn off the power from the VMS2 it does not unload the driver from the device manager and when viewing them, one of the two shows the drivers for the device are not installed. I am already working with AA support but not getting to far yet and thought I would see if anyone else has experienced what I am experiencing. The DSP D-Core will give you a much louder output and your microphones are going to sound a lot better. Easily select a track using the navigation controls in the center of the controller. Shorten or lengthen your loops using the multitude of loop controls included on the VMS2. The button layout on the VMS2 is made to match the virtual DJ LE software. You will have no problem fading the audio with the actual faders that are available for pitch control. The American Audio VMS2 has 2 large scratch wheels that can be used in CD mode or vinyl mode for real time scratching. Also included is the Virtual DJ LE software, so It is it's own DJ Mixer/Midi controller all built into one. The VMS2 is a compact midi controller that features 2 channels.
