While Puzzle mode simply gives you a limited time in which to clear the balls above you, Tournament play is unlimited as long as you can stay afloat as balls descend from above to try to sink you. The demo version includes three levels of difficulty: Puzzle, Tournament, and Deathmatch.
Your goal is to shoot the colored balls above you, but only the ones that match the hue of your current bullet.
Movements are basic -you can move right or left with your cannon, and choose the angle and power of your shot. You are a worm (or another creature of your choice) floating on a boat in a lake. Worms Blast resembles an arcade-style game, which means most of the levels offer challenges for only one player. With colorful graphics and three challenging levels of play, this demo version is an easy-to-play romp based on the popular Worms concept.
